About the role
- Product Owner overseeing app development at Adnovation, ensuring project advancement and alignment with business objectives. Leading a cross-functional team in a hybrid work environment.
Responsibilities
- Manage the operational flow for the app development squad
- Ensure swift project advancement and that all product decisions and the roadmap clearly support business objectives
- Define outputs from initial concepts and maintain transparency and accountability through JIRA tracking
- Lead on sprint organization, backlog management, and confirm all deliverables meet deadlines
- Convert high-level business objectives and product visions into a clear, prioritized, and executable roadmap
- Collaborate closely with UX, Dev, to accurately scope and prioritize all features
- Keep all parties informed and synchronized, linking their work directly to OKRs
- Ensure high functional and UX standards for every release
- Actively track feature rollout impact using analytics platforms
- Lead in the A/B tests strategy and push notifications strategy
- Analyze competitors and identify best practices in monetization, retention, and user experience
- Transform key performance metrics into concrete action plans
- Enhance team performance and process efficiency through regular retrospectives and velocity tracking
- Run the day-to-day machine of the app squad
Requirements
- 4+ years in mobile/tech product leadership
- Experience in consumer subscription apps
- Proficient in Agile frameworks (Scrum/Kanban)
- Solid understanding of the mobile app lifecycle
- Comfort with analytics dashboards and analytical tools (Amplitude, Firebase, Appsflyer, Bigquery, etc.)
- Ability to convert metrics (A/B testing, OKRs, retention) into tactical plans
- Experience with RevenueCat and SQL and/or Python skills are nice-to-have
- Technical high-level understanding of the mobile app environment
- Excellent communication
- Established presence in Barcelona (hybrid) (or willingness to relocate)
- Proficiency in English & Spanish
