Compliance Specialist supporting various Compliance initiatives and ensuring regulatory adherence in healthcare. Reporting to the Compliance Manager and collaborating with internal departments on compliance - related projects.
About the role
- Manage Regulatory Planning and Evaluation in energy efficiency at Eversource. Lead multi-year planning, reporting, and stakeholder collaboration efforts while achieving savings goals.
Responsibilities
- Responsible for addressing emerging energy efficiency and demand response policy hurdles
- Responsible for all functions related to multi-year energy efficiency planning and benefit-cost modeling processes
- Integral in the development of savings goals in each jurisdiction
- Performs analysis in support of the development of those goals
- Leads the Company's strategic thinking on benefit-cost analysis techniques and valuation of energy efficiency and demand side resources
- Works with internal and external stakeholders to develop multi-year energy efficiency savings goals and budgets
- Manages the overall regulatory process, including the development of Term Reports, Compliance Filings, and Three-Year Plans
- Collaborates with other supervisors and managers regarding regulatory issues
- Oversees team that maintains the Benefit-Cost models for both gas and electric programs
- Coaches, develops and assesses staff
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Economics, Statistics or related discipline or equivalent experience
- Master’s Degree preferred
- Ten (10) plus years related experience including demonstrated experience working effectively and collaborating with a wide range of internal and external customers
- Extensive knowledge of the electric and gas industry as it relates to energy efficiency
- Requires knowledge and understanding of Energy Efficiency-related regulatory processes and legislative guidelines
- Requires extensive knowledge and skills in performing cost-effectiveness analyses
- Requires general familiarity with energy efficiency technologies and their application in all customer sectors
- Exceptional written and oral communication skills
