Compensation & Benefits Manager for emeis GmbH, managing compensation strategies and optimizing structures in the HR sector. Collaboration with finance and compliance on compensation processes.
Responsibilities
Develop and implement a compensation and benefits strategy
Analyze and optimize existing compensation structures and derive recommendations for action
Conduct market and salary benchmarks and prepare compensation analyses
Design and support an annual salary review process
Advise managers and HR colleagues on compensation matters and current market trends
Manage and develop our employee benefits (e.g., company pension schemes, mobility programs, health offerings)
Work closely with Finance, Payroll and external service providers
Ensure compliance of all compensation processes, in particular with regard to the German Pay Transparency Act (EntgeltTranspG): o Support implementation and documentation of statutory requirements o Ensure pay transparency and non-discriminatory compensation structures o Prepare and provide relevant information for inquiry procedures under the EntgTranspG
Requirements
Degree in Business Administration, HR Management, Economics or a comparable qualification
Several years of professional experience in the compensation and benefits area, ideally with international exposure
Very good knowledge of compensation systems, labor market trends and basic employment law topics
Understanding of statutory requirements in the compensation area, in particular the Pay Transparency Act (EntgTranspG)
Strong analytical skills and a high affinity for numbers
Proactive, structured working style and enjoyment of conceptual work
Strong communication and advisory skills when dealing with managers and stakeholders
Very good MS Excel skills; experience with HR analytics tools is an advantage
Good German and English skills
