About the role
- IT-Systemadministrator providing L2 & L3 support with a focus on hybrid (cloud) infrastructures. Collaborate on customer projects while ensuring system availability and improvement.
Responsibilities
- Provide Level-2/Level-3 support for our customers in the areas of Private Cloud, virtualization, storage, networking and backup
- Analyze, diagnose and resolve incidents in a sustainable manner — independently or in close collaboration with vendors and other departments
- Provide technical expertise in various project situations
- Perform active monitoring of our systems and use monitoring tools to ensure high availability and stability
- Continuously work to improve the performance and reliability of our customers' infrastructures
- Support updates, patches and configuration changes
- Create and maintain technical documentation and actively share knowledge within the team
- Further develop our services and drive standardization and automation
Requirements
- Completed IT training, e.g. as an IT Specialist for System Integration or IT System Administrator
- At least 3 years of experience in IT support or system operations with a focus on hybrid or private cloud environments
- Knowledge in several of the following areas: CloudStack, KVM, VMware or other virtualization technologies, storage systems (SAN/NAS), network administration (LAN/WAN, WLAN, firewall), backup and restore solutions, Windows and/or Linux server administration
- Experience with Kubernetes or container technologies (Docker, OpenShift) is a plus
- Structured and quality-oriented way of working
- Service orientation, strong communication skills and a team player mindset
- Willingness to continuously develop and independently learn new topics
- Fluent German skills and very good English skills
