Responsibilities
Work with management to set long-term company objectives and coordinate with OEM customers
Represent the company to customers, partners and suppliers – both nationally and internationally
Build a network within the OEM to gather information on new programs and product developments
Foster customer relationship management through regular on-site meetings
Lead the quotation process for program acquisition and contract changes for all responsible programs
Prepare and execute new business strategies and/or bid-winning strategies for regional/global programs
Develop annual business terms for assigned customers and/or products
Ensure accuracy of data for sales forecasts
Monitor and report on competitive market conditions including pricing, market presence, technology, quality, etc.
Requirements
University degree in business administration or a technical field
Several years of experience with major OEMs in the automotive and commercial vehicle industry
Experience in program management within the OEM environment
Extensive industry knowledge of customers and competitors
Understanding of Advanced Product Quality Planning (APQP) processes
Strong understanding of cost structure and cost drivers
Assertive, strong negotiation skills, and a high level of responsibility
Excellent written and spoken English
Proficiency with MS Office products and ERP systems
