Responsibilities
Oversee a team of Sales Managers and Sales Associates
Develop and execute effective sales and prospecting strategies
Build strong relationships with clients and licensees
Manage the portfolio of clients
Responsible for day to day management of Sales Managers and Sales Associates
Collaborate with the head of sales to foster a positive team culture
Provide coaching and support to sales managers during deal negotiation and closing processes
Spearhead the sales strategy for each client
Identify challenges and propose solutions to enhance overall sales strategy
Develop specific strategies tailored to the clients within your portfolio
Set the strategy for trade shows and attend key meetings as necessary
Review and approve prospecting lists
Work on complex contract negotiations and proposal development
Serve as the main point of contact for clients
Requirements
Bachelor’s Degree
10+ years of experience in sales, licensing sales preferred
Focus on relationship building and nurturing rather than aggressive selling
3+ years of team management experience
Demonstrated ability to think creatively and strategically
Excellent presentation skills and communication skills
Excellent relationship building skills
Strong understanding of client and licensee relationship and processes
Analytical mindset and ability to review and interpret data to drive action
