Responsibilities
Responsible for planning, managing and monitoring all test activities within a project
Develop a clear test strategy together with the project team
Ensure an appropriate test environment and test data
Coordinate and lead the project test team
Ensure quality and analyze test results
Report test progress, results and risks to project management and clients
Apply test automation where it makes sense
Identify and assess potential risks in the test process at an early stage
Contribute to the further development of bank-wide test processes
Requirements
Solid knowledge of test methodology
Several years of professional experience as a test manager (at least five years in this role)
At least three years in operational test coordination, ideally in the banking environment or another regulated sector
Certifications such as ISTQB® Certified Tester, Foundation Level or ISTQB® Certified Tester – Test Manager, Advanced Level are an advantage
Understanding of software development lifecycles, whether waterfall or agile
Experience testing across different technical platforms (e.g., mainframe, cloud, Java-based applications)
Very good German (C1) and good English (B2) language skills
Analytical thinking and a clear, structured way of working
Courage to make decisions and composure to react flexibly
Ability to communicate with diverse stakeholders and present complex test results in an understandable way
