Senior HR Business Partner overseeing HR execution and policies within HMSHost operations. Collaborating with leadership to enhance employee engagement and compliance.
Responsibilities
Manages the full employee lifecycle, including recruitment, selection, onboarding, engagement, development, retention, and separation
Develops and maintains a trusted-advisor relationship with the Director of Operations and senior leadership
Establishes and maintains a visible, positive presence among team members at all levels
Actively participates in arbitrations, grievances, and contract negotiations
Ensures HR practices comply with company policy and legal requirements
Requirements
The combined total of education and professional experience must exceed 5 years:
Leadership role: Requires 2–4 years of experience leading a team of HR professionals, implementing HR strategy, and maintaining employee relationships.
Technical role: Requires 5–7 years of HR experience.
A bachelor’s degree in a related field may count for three of the five required years.
An MBA or master’s degree in a related field may count for two additional years toward the five-year requirement.
Industry experience: 3–5 years of experience in hospitality, food & beverage, and/or retail is preferred.
SHRM-SCP or HRCI-SPHR certification preferred.
Deep knowledge across HR disciplines, including recruitment, employee relations, labor/union relations, training and development, benefits, and compensation.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office; demonstrated expertise in preparing documents, spreadsheets, and presentations.
Proficiency with HRIS and business software; ability to learn new systems quickly.
