- Cloud and Wintel Administrator managing Windows Server environments for global IT services firm. Providing support for cloud architecture and infrastructure operations.
Responsibilities
- Administering and maintaining Windows Server environments, ensuring their stability, security, and alignment with internal standards;
- Performing routine patching, updates, and system health checks, ensuring systems remain secure and compliant with defined policies;
- Monitoring and troubleshooting server performance and availability, proactively identifying issues and resolving them;
- Assisting in managing cloud resources across multiple platforms, supporting day-to-day cloud administration activities;
- Monitoring cloud workloads and assisting with provisioning and scaling;
- Supporting cloud backup and disaster recovery configurations;
- Monitoring backup jobs and resolving failures or alerts;
- Performing regular restore tests, validating data recoverability;
- Using monitoring tools to track system health and performance;
- Responding to incidents and service requests related to servers and backups;
- Supporting audit and compliance activities, preparing systems for internal and external reviews;
- Ensuring systems meet internal and regulatory standards, following defined requirements.
Requirements
- 10+ years of experience in infrastructure, providing a solid foundation across server, storage, and platform administration;
- 5+ years of experience in workstation build and automation, supporting standardized and efficient endpoint environments;
- Work in a hybrid setup (3 days onsite in Alabang, Muntinlupa and 2 days WFH) - Necessary condition;
- Experience with Windows Server 2016/2019/2022 and Active Directory, supporting enterprise directory and server services;
- Experience with virtualization platforms such as VMware vSphere, ESXi and Microsoft Hyper-V, ensuring efficient resource utilization;
- Experience with cloud platforms including Azure, AWS, and GCP, enabling support of hybrid and multi-cloud environments;
- Experience with Veeam Backup & Replication, supporting backup and recovery operations;
- Experience with SAN and NAS solutions, managing enterprise storage environments;
- Experience with storage protocols such as iSCSI, NFS, and SMB, ensuring reliable data access;
- Experience with ITSM tools, supporting structured incident, problem, and request management;
- Experience with monitoring tools such as SolarWinds, SCOM, and Nagios, enabling proactive infrastructure monitoring;
- Basic exposure to SIEM tools, supporting security monitoring and incident awareness;
- Experience with PowerShell, enabling scripting, automation, and administrative efficiency.
