Responsibilities
Personal, proactive sales of leading trade media brands (including Lebensmittel Zeitung and TextilWirtschaft) aimed at marketing digital access in the form of multi-user licenses and subscriptions to major clients in retail and industry
Identifying sales potential with existing customers as well as acquiring new customers
Contacting clients in person, by phone or by e-mail, supported by CRM
Independently designing and presenting customized offers for clients
Contributing to new offerings, pricing and all projects to further develop this area
Occasional attendance at national trade fairs and events
Monitoring market developments and competitors
Requirements
Initial professional experience in sales—ideally in media
University degree
Strong affinity for new communication technologies
Confident presence, high persuasiveness, good presentation and communication skills; sales talent in person and on the phone
Structured, careful working style and analytical thinking ability
Team player and able to work under pressure
Industry knowledge of the consumer goods sector and retail is an advantage but not required
Very good knowledge of MS Office (PowerPoint, Excel); experience with Salesforce is an advantage
Very good German and good English skills, both written and spoken
