About the role

Responsibilities
- Apply statistical methodologies and frameworks to support data analysis and project work
- Utilize Python and SQL for data extraction and manipulation
- Work under supervision to analyze credit bureau data and develop a tool for creating custom attributes, with opportunities to explore solutions using the CFC ChatGPT subscription
- Execute projects and tasks as outlined by the mentor, ensuring timely and accurate completion
- Prepare and submit weekly reports summarizing project progress and deliverables
- Meet daily with a mentor to review project status, reports, and address questions
- Contribute to the department and organization by providing innovative ideas, solutions, and an external perspective
Requirements
- Currently enrolled in and working towards a graduate degree in data science, physics, mathematics, data science or statistics
- Available to work 40 hours /week (hybrid) for 10-week program: June 2 nd to August 6 th , 2026
- Proficiency in Python and SQL is required ; familiarity with machine learning algorithms is a plus
- Strong attention to detail
