Responsibilities
- Support the accounting coordination in decision-making by providing technical data
- Provide support for project development
- Perform the department's routine processes
- Support real estate appropriation (capitalization) processes
- Prepare financial statements and the monthly close in accordance with company policies and applicable accounting standards
- Prepare accounting and financial reports, including balance sheet, income statement (DRE), statement of changes in equity (DMPL), statement of value added (DVA), cash flow statement (DFC), explanatory notes, and other reports
- Prepare individual financial statements for SPEs (special purpose entities)
- Reconcile the balances of accounting statements with supporting documentation for the records
- Prepare consolidated IFRS and monthly managerial financial statements resulting from the accounting close process
- Provide internal consulting to other company areas on accounting matters of medium complexity
- Prepare information to be reported to IBGE
- Support accounting projects aimed at improving departmental productivity
- Support the coordination with up-to-date technical information, covering accounting and tax legislation and related matters.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree
- Degree in Accounting
- Essential: knowledge of accounting standards (CPC – Accounting Pronouncements Committee); consolidation of financial statements; explanatory notes; financial statement analysis; support for external and internal audits; Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access)
- Desirable: prior knowledge of real estate sector specifics; real estate appropriation (capitalization) processes; experience with VBA and BI; knowledge of direct and indirect taxes
