About the role

  • Sales Clerk providing customer service and selling merchandise at the Exchange in Elizabeth City, NC. Engaging with customers, maintaining stock, and operating the cash register.

Responsibilities

  • Welcome customers and maintain product knowledge
  • Sell merchandise and provide outstanding customer service
  • Take periodic stock counts and maintain merchandise
  • Operate cash register and accurately handle payments
  • Follow policies regarding Loss Prevention and safety standards

Requirements

  • Potential to stock merchandise, assist patrons and operate a cash register
  • Ability to routinely lift 10 pounds and occasionally lift 25 pounds and stand for long periods of time
  • Previous retail merchandising or cashier experience preferred
