About the role

  • AMER EHS Theater Lead managing compliance and safety initiatives across multi-site operations. Focusing on data-driven safety outcomes and regulatory requirements with a hybrid team.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the primary link between the EHS organization and regional partners.
  • Translate EHS requirements into scalable programs and consistent execution.
  • Lead an experienced Americas EHS team and drive corporate EHS initiatives.
  • Responsible for EHS-related compliance activities, including operating the North American regulated waste management program.
  • Coordinate responses to EHS inquiries from external parties.
  • Use EHS data and systems to draw insights and accelerate data-driven decision-making using AI-augmented tools.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent experience) in Environmental Health and Safety, Environmental Science, Industrial Hygiene, Safety Engineering, or a related field.
  • 10–15 years of progressive EHS experience supporting multi-site operations in the Americas, including California regulatory exposure.
  • +5 years of people management experience, including leading experienced and developing EHS professionals.
  • Experience with EHS regulatory requirements and practices in California, the United States, Canada, Central and South America.
  • Experience operating or being responsible for a regulated waste management program (e.g., U.S. hazardous/regulated waste), including vendor/contractor oversight and compliance documentation.
