Regional Consulting Sales Engineer at Automated Logic delivering pre-sales technical support and expertise. Identifying client requirements and facilitating design solutions while collaborating with the sales team.
Responsibilities
Collaborate with sales teams to understand customer requirements and develop tailored solutions.
Conduct product demonstrations and presentations to showcase features, benefits, and advantages.
Create and deliver compelling technical proposals and responses to Requests for Proposals (RFPs).
Provide technical expertise and support during the sales process, including answering technical questions and resolving issues.
Engage with engineering customers to gather technical requirements and assess their needs, and position Automated Logic as the basis of design.
Build and maintain strong relationships with customers to ensure their satisfaction and to foster long-term partnerships.
Collaborate with engineering and product teams to ensure that solutions are feasible and meet customer expectations.
Stay up to date with industry trends, product developments, and competitive landscape within the market.
Provide feedback to product management and development teams based on customer insights and market demands.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree with 2+ Years of Experience developing, selling, or engineering building automation systems or High School Diploma/GED with 5+ years experience developing, selling, or engineering building automation systems.
Traveling up to 75% locally.
Preferred Qualifications: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree, preferably either Mechanical, Electrical or Controls Engineering.
BAS or Controls experience in the consulting engineering space.
3+ Years Design skills with Engineering of BAS Systems.
10+ years of experience developing and engineering building automation systems.
CEM, LEED AP, and WELL AP accreditation or PE certification.
Knowledge of HVAC, lighting, other building systems, and IT networking/Integration – both in design and maintainability.
Ability to work within a fast-moving engineering design team.
