Responsibilities
Design, develop, and maintain software and firmware solutions for intrusion and access control systems within the MB ecosystem.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including hardware engineers and product managers to define system requirements and deliver high-quality products on schedule.
Implement secure coding practices and integrate security into every phase of the software development lifecycle (DevSecOps).
Contribute to the architecture and platform design of embedded systems and related software environments.
Perform code reviews, testing, debugging, and optimization to ensure reliability and performance.
Document software designs, specifications, and procedures to facilitate team collaboration and future maintenance, stay up-to-date with industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies relevant to security and access control solutions.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field (Master’s preferred), minimum of 3 years of professional experience in software and firmware development.
Proficiency in C or C++ or Python programming languages.
Extensive experience working in Linux and FreeRTOS environments, ability to read schematics and interface with hardware.
At least 2 years of hands-on experience in DevSecOps practices and platform design.
Strong understanding of cybersecurity principles and secure software development methodologies.
Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a collaborative, fast-paced team environment.
