Brand Manager for Penhaligon’s and L’Artisan Parfumeur in Germany. Overseeing marketing strategies and brand communication for niche luxury beauty brands.
Responsibilities
Develop a vision and short-, medium- and long-term (growth) objectives for the Penhaligon’s and L’Artisan Parfumeur brands for the German, Austrian and Swiss markets
Develop and implement local marketing strategies based on the brands' global guidelines
Create 360° marketing activations to successfully launch new products and ensure growth of the core portfolio
Work closely with Sales, Retail Development, Training, Finance and Operations, the international teams in Paris and Barcelona, and external agencies
Own all brand communication by developing and implementing the marketing, media and communication plan in coordination with the local media team and the international communication teams, and by managing external PR agencies
Develop customer-specific omni-channel promotion plans in close collaboration with account managers and the Activation Team
Responsible for the annual budget (ATL/BTL), including regular tracking and performance monitoring of marketing activities
Monitor financial KPIs (P&L), conduct regular performance analyses of market shares and brand equity, and perform competitive analyses with resulting recommendations for action
Responsible for all operational day-to-day activities for the brands
Prepare and lead sales conferences, including presentations of the brands and new product launches
Manage personnel responsibility for at least one Junior Manager in the team
Requirements
Several years of professional experience as a Brand Manager or Product Manager with experience in Communications, ideally within the (beauty) luxury goods sector
You work in a structured and independent manner but also enjoy collaborating on a variety of projects within a team
You are a creative personality who enjoys contributing your own ideas, continuously optimizing processes and exploring new approaches
You have a strong sense for aesthetics, digital trends and customer needs in the niche market
Your pronounced hands-on mentality and quick grasp enable you to quickly familiarise yourself with new areas of responsibility and to work in them confidently
Your analytical and strategic thinking and acting, your structured way of working and your strong ability to prioritise tasks appropriately distinguish you
Excellent communication skills in German and English and a personable manner enable you to work with a wide range of stakeholders in a trusting and cooperative way
Working with MS Office is a matter of course for you
