About the role
- Financial Crime Compliance Consultant developing FCC strategies for financial institutions in the Netherlands to navigate complex regulations and enhance operations. Leading multidisciplinary programs and advising executives on FCC compliance wins.
Responsibilities
- Vormgeven van FCC-strategie en Target Operating Models (governance, first/second line-rollen, procesontwerp, data lineage, technologische enablement).
- Leiding geven aan multidisciplinaire programma’s binnen KYC/CDD, Transaction Monitoring, Sanctions, Screening, SIRA, Quality & QA.
- Je zorgt dat de verandering soepel verloopt tussen Fraud Ops, Compliance, Data en IT.
- Uitvoeren van gap-analyses, maturity scans en risico-assessments; vertalen van bevindingen naar concrete, gefaseerde roadmaps.
- Innovatie koppelen aan AI/Data/RegTech en zorgen voor model risk management en audit-gereedheid.
- Adviseren van executives, onderhouden van klantrelaties en signaleren van commerciële kansen.
- Coachen en ontwikkelen van consultants; bijdragen aan een cultuur van excellentie en integriteit.
Requirements
- Masterdiploma (bijv. Bedrijfskunde, Economie, Finance, Rechten, Criminologie).
- 4–7+ jaar consultancy-ervaring in de financiële sector met diepgaande FCC-expertise (AML/CTF, Sancties, KYC/CDD, SIRA, TM).
- Aantoonbare ervaring met het ontwerpen/implementeren van FCC TOM, governance en controls.
- Bekend met RegTech/AI-kansen en -beperkingen binnen FCC; sterk in stakeholdermanagement tot en met ExCo-niveau.
- Vloeiend in Nederlands en Engels, een sterk netwerk en een duidelijke visie op de markt.
- Certificeringen (bijv. CAMS/ICA) zijn een pré.
