About the role
- Senior Finance Associate reviewing company revenue at a leading trading platform. Assist in financial reporting and ensure compliance with regulations.
Responsibilities
- Assist in reviewing the company’s revenue to ensure accuracy and compliance.
- Monitor the reconciliations of clients' and corporate bank accounts with the accounting software on a daily basis.
- Prepare monthly financial accounts and review for accuracy, ensuring all postings are complete and no entries are missing.
- Prepare quarterly reports for CySEC and Central Bank of Cyprus.
- Communicate with accountants regularly to resolve any issues or discrepancies.
- Support and monitor external audit procedures to ensure smooth and timely completion.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (Master’s degree or professional certification such as ACCA/CPA preferred).
- At least 3 years of experience in finance or accounting.
- Strong knowledge of financial principles, accounting standards (e.g., IFRS/GAAP).
- Proficiency in financial software and advanced Excel skills.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Highly skilled in math, accounting and financial processes.
