Finance and Accounting Executive responsible for finance operations in Bombayworks' Indian branch. Collaborating with international teams and managing accounting, taxation, and payroll functions.
Responsibilities
Responsible for the finance related work within the Indian branch of Bombayworks.
Working closely with the Managing Director in Mumbai, Finance Controller, and CEO in Sweden.
Hands-on execution across accounting, reporting, taxation, payroll, banking, legal coordination, and vendor management.
Communicate with people from non-financial backgrounds.
Present analyzed reports to the management group in a clear and understandable manner.
Ensure that all aspects in the job are covered.
Always improving the way the work is done by bringing new ideas to the table.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or related field.
Master's Degree preferred.
Minimum five years experience of Financial work.
Preferably for an international company.
Expert in keeping track of financial transactions, preparing financial plans, reviewing statements and accounting, as well as handling tax related work.
Experience working with auditors.
Extreme attention to details in all tasks at hand.
Fluent English in both writing and speech.
Handling monthly and annual accounts as well as preparing annual reports.
Be able to handle the entire payroll process.
Experience in Transfer Pricing, GST, TDS and other statutory requirements.
Experience of following internal and external regulations and keeping up to date on news.
Knowledge of IFRS would be a big plus.
Preparing monthly Management Information System reports, creating annual budgets and performing variance analysis for the management team.
Coordinating with the external CS ensuring all Companies Act and FEMA compliances.
Working experience with Tally Prime.
Proficient with advanced excel.
