Responsibilities
- Provide visionary leadership and strategic direction for the future of commercial aircraft modification within Boeing
- Oversee EASA Modifications programs to ensure alignment with company goals and regulatory requirements
- Lead and inspire a multi-disciplinary, agile engineering team specializing in electrical and avionic design and certification activities

- Ensure all projects and deliverables meet stringent timelines, budgets, and quality standards

- Implement productivity enhancements and facilitate knowledge sharing across teams
- Oversee the planning, execution, and delivery of technical projects and process improvements
- Develop team skills, careers, and talents through targeted coaching and mentorship
- Serve as a key Boeing representative in customer engagements and on-site support during the embodiment phase of projects
- Build and maintain strong, sustainable relationships with customers, stakeholders, and partners
- Provide authoritative oversight and approval of technical approaches, products, and processes, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and alignment with Boeing’s strategic objectives
Requirements
- Bachelor´s degree or higher from an accredited program in aerospace engineering, another safety-critical engineering discipline, or a comparable field
- 10+ years of experience working within an EASA Design Organisation (DOA) or a similar aerospace environment
- At least one year of experience in a leadership role (team leader, temp manager, large scale cross functional project/program management, or formal manager experience) OR have completed the Boeing internal course “Exploring Leadership.”
- Extensive experience managing EASA design organization projects
- Strong skills in people leadership, time management, and budget oversight
- A proactive change agent, continuously seeking to improve working practices and procedures
- Proven project management expertise to successfully deliver complex engineering change programs on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards
- Deep understanding of engineering job practices, hands-on experience in Type Design and Continuing Airworthiness for Part 25 aircraft
- Comprehensive knowledge of certification processes, design changes, and modifications relevant to the aerospace industry
- Skilled at working effectively with colleagues, customers, and diverse stakeholders
- Proven track record of managing engineers at all levels and building highly effective, distributed teams
