About the role
- Solution Architect developing IT services and infrastructure for the city of Hanau. Planning, implementing, and optimizing IT solutions in a hybrid work environment.
Responsibilities
- Planning and further development of IT services, system architectures, and products
- Preparing plans from evaluation through to implementation
- Advising and closely collaborating with project stakeholders on solution implementation
- Technical assessment of customer requests (e.g., effort and resource requirements) in cooperation with the Project Management Office or project managers
- Contributing to the future technological direction
- Actively shaping and evolving standards and guidelines
- Participating in planning and controlling required resources, capacities, and costs
Requirements
- Completed vocational training as an IT specialist for system integration or an equivalent IT qualification
- Several years of professional experience and project experience
- Strong expertise in IT solution development with a holistic approach
- Relevant experience in server, software, cloud, and application architectures
- Relevant experience in IT infrastructure upgrades for buildings, network planning, and working with building planning documentation
- Team player with a professional manner — both internally and externally
- Confident handling of provider and vendor management
- Analytical skills, strong communication, and solution-oriented thinking
- Excellent German (spoken and written, at least C1 level) and business-fluent English
- Valid driving license (Class B)
