Responsibilities
Gather requirements, analyze business processes, and document functional requirements to support the development and evolution of solutions
Develop, together with team members, a testing strategy that addresses functional needs, business rules, risks and automation opportunities, and produce the quality and functional documentation required to support the development, evolution and validation of the solution
Deploy the organization’s quality indicators, coordinate their integration into monitoring processes, and ensure data collection and analysis to support governance and continuous improvement
Implement operational QA best practices and ensure they reflect functional requirements
Coordinate and plan required test types, execution environments and necessary prerequisites according to the sector’s objectives
Identify relevant tests based on risks, project needs, solution components and functional requirements, in collaboration with stakeholders
Prioritize and adapt testing activities to maximize effectiveness and optimize effort according to identified risks and functional requirements
Coordinate the tracking of test results and defects according to defined indicators, and ensure metric traceability to support quality assessment and decision-making
Collaborate with the Beneva Quality Governance representative to adapt the quality framework to the digital sector
Participate in alignment forums with quality governance
Requirements
Minimum of six years of relevant experience, including at least two years in a coordination role
Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology or a related field, or equivalent experience combined with relevant certifications
Experience delivering projects in an agile environment
Ability to implement QA best practices
Proven ability to develop and communicate a quality strategy
Proficiency with test and defect management tools (Jira, Xray)
Knowledge of techniques for writing test cases and scenarios (manual and automated)
Understanding of automation concepts (ability to execute or maintain scripts is an asset)
Ability to analyze requirements and identify relevant test scenarios
Experience working in the financial services and insurance sector (an asset)
Fluency in French, both written and spoken, and functional proficiency in English (an asset), both written and spoken
