About the role
- Trading Analyst supporting day-to-day wholesale power trading operations in Birmingham, AL. Forecasting prices and developing bids while ensuring data integrity.
Responsibilities
- Assist with daily trade operations, using our tools to provide quantitative analysis and support
- Document market activity and hypotheses for fundamental drivers of prices in different locations on different days
- Perform analytical work to improve our forecasts and to suggest possible strategy improvements
- Assist data team with the implementation of new data sources, mappings between data sources, and ensuring data integrity for our day to day trading efforts
