Responsibilities
Lead the development, implementation and management of robust change control processes across complex, high profile projects within our Naval Nuclear business
Manage a team of change management professionals
Operate within a matrix management environment
Lead the creation and application of change control frameworks and procedures across projects and programmes
Manage and mentor a small team of project controls professionals, providing guidance and development opportunities
Interact with Planning, Cost Control and Commercial teams to ensure consistency and compliance
Engage with internal and external stakeholders to clarify change impacts and secure alignment
Influence Delivery teams to ensure consistent application of change control processes
Requirements
Proven experience in project controls or project management, with a focus on change control or commercial management
Ability to manage complex change processes across large-scale projects or programmes
Skilled in data analysis and reporting tools (e.g., Power BI, Excel)
Familiarity with project controls systems (e.g., Primavera, CEMAR, SAP)
Experience managing or mentoring team members within matrixed organisations
Professional qualification in project management or controls (e.g., APM, PMI, or equivalent)
The successful candidate must be able to achieve and maintain Standard (BPSS) / Security Check (SC) security clearance.
