Responsibilities
Partner with product managers, engineers, user researchers, and other designers to define great experiences from initial concept through successful implementation
Initiate and maintain collaboration beyond our team, ensuring design works stays in step with various adjacent teams
Visualize and prototype solutions at various levels of fidelity, from high-level wireframes to testable interactive hi-fi interfaces
Rapidly develop and test experience design concepts internally and with users
Use design thinking methodologies to run workshops and facilitate brainstorming sessions
Leverage design system standards to ensure consistency and cohesion across products
Lead design presentations and discussions with a wide range of audiences
Maintain active contact with users through field research, interviews and user conferences to translate insights into designs for new experiences
Research user interface trends and the potential impact of new technologies on the user experience
Requirements
5+ years of related professional user experience design and user research experience
Demonstrated experience working in/designing for complex B2B/technical platform experiences
Deep knowledge of AEC customer workflows and recognized leadership in the experience design of BIM and 3D applications
Depth of understanding in complex data management and related experience design patterns
Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience
Current portfolio of commercial UX work
Strong facilitation skills and a bias towards action in complex and ambiguous technical environments
Excellent communication skills, with the ability to distil complex ideas and optimistically reframe design challenges.
