About the role

  • Product Marketing Manager co-creating marketing strategies at Auror, which empowers the retail industry to tackle theft and organized crime. Focused on collaboration across Product, Marketing, and Customer Success.

Responsibilities

  • Product Marketing at Auror is just getting started. You'll be our second hire, joining a Director of Product Marketing who is building the function from the ground up.
  • You'll work closely with our Product Managers, stress-testing customer value through discovery, shaping the narrative during build, and owning launch readiness for the majority of our product releases.
  • You'll partner with Customer Success to close the loop between what we ship, how we roll it out, and how customers experience value.
  • You'll turn complex product capabilities into clear, compelling stories grounded in what actually matters to our customers, tailored to the right buyer and user personas.
  • You'll need to bring people on the journey - helping Product, Sales, Customer Success, and leadership understand the 'why' behind what Product Marketing does, and demonstrating its value through the work itself.

Requirements

  • 3-5 years of product marketing experience in B2B SaaS, ideally in a product-led environment
  • Exceptional storytelling skills - you agonise over word choice, care about clarity, and know that great messaging isn't about being clever, it's about being understood
  • Hands-on experience managing product releases and launches end-to-end, including messaging, coordination, and comms
  • A genuine interest in working closely with Product and Engineering teams - not just receiving briefs but being part of the conversation early
  • Proven stakeholder management skills - you can build credibility, communicate the value of PMM, and bring cross-functional partners on the journey in a business where the function is still new
  • A love of building frameworks and processes from scratch - you've worked in environments where not everything was figured out and thrived on having the freedom to make a difference
  • Highly capable with technology - you’re keen to experiment with AI and have familiarity with product release processes and tools (Notion, Productboard, Intercom, or similar)
  • An understanding of multi-persona B2B environments where different audiences need different messages about the same product
  • Self-driven and motivated - you bring energy, curiosity, and a hunger to build and make an impact without needing to be asked.

Benefits

  • Competitive salary range: Depending on level of experience, between $105,000 - $135,000 (IC3)
  • Employee share scheme: You’ll own part of a company making a real difference!
  • Flexibility: We are hard-working and outcome focused, but recognise there is more to life than work. We promote a healthy work/life blend.
  • Shorter work weeks (at full pay): Everyone gets Friday afternoons off, so you can start your weekend early, and do more of whatever it is that makes you happy.
  • Focus on mental and physical health: We understand how vital our health is and have policies to support your wellness, including Wellness Days, and up to $750 for expert sessions every year.
  • Health insurance: We prioritise looking after your health by covering 100% of your individual health insurance plan through nib health insurance.
  • Family-friendly: We offer comprehensive paid parental leave - 12 weeks for birth parents and 6 weeks for non-birth parents following birth, adoption, or surrogacy, available to all Aurors from day one.
  • Personal growth: We support our team to participate in courses, conferences, or events that will help them develop their skills.
  • Team love: We have regular team lunches and social events where most (if not all) activities are during work hours.
