Business Development Manager responsible for building business pipeline and securing high-value opportunities. Leading tender processes and collaborating with stakeholders for Aramark in the UK.
Responsibilities
Identify and convert new business opportunities through structured tender and proposal processes.
Proactively build a strong food services pipeline via in‑person and phone outreach.
Map target accounts and nurture relationships with key decision makers.
Prioritise high‑value opportunities based on defined criteria such as revenue potential and geography.
Own the full sales cycle, collaborating with subject matter experts from lead creation to contract sign‑off.
Lead proposal and bid development, coordinating contributors and ensuring alignment across teams.
Partner with Finance and Operations to create commercially viable solutions and maintain internal alignment.
Ensure governance and accuracy, including up‑to‑date Salesforce records, compliant processes, and tailored proposal content.
Requirements
Minimum 1 year’s experience in contract catering — either in business development or an operational/support role within the sector.
Results‑driven with strong commercial awareness.
Excellent organisational and time‑management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
Self‑motivated, proactive, and resilient.
Strong communication skills — written, verbal, and presentation.
Confident influencing internal and external stakeholders.
Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office.
