Support Engineer handling customer inquiries via chat and email for Apify's scraping platform. Providing both business and technical support during night shifts in a hybrid role.
Responsibilities
Handle customer inquiries from 5 PM to 2 AM CET via chat and email
Solve both business and technical issues
Process customer questions and other internal notifications daily
Use Apify Console, Intercom, and Slack as main tools
Maintain customer satisfaction and response timeliness
Expand support coverage to American timezones as Apify grows
Provide only written support with no phone support or on-site visits
Participate in other projects related to automation, AI in Support, and building knowledge in Help Center
Requirements
1–2 years of support experience, ideally in a software-as-a-service company
Knowledge of programming principles and HTML/CSS/JavaScript is an advantage, interest in technology at the very least
Preferences to work in the afternoons/evenings (from 5 PM to 2 AM CET) with holiday/weekend standby duties
Passion for technology
Ability to explain complex information to customers clearly and concisely
Professional verbal and written communication skills in English
