About the role
- SAP Procurement Consultant supporting strategic procurement processes and supply chain solutions for clients. Engaging in technology-driven procurement transformations and enhancing user experiences in the digitization of processes.
Responsibilities
- Advise clients on strategic procurement and supply chain processes.
- Support clients in the development and implementation of procurement strategies, category strategies, supplier strategies, sourcing and buying-channel strategies to optimize their purchasing processes.
- Play a key role in designing, developing and implementing new processes, particularly in technology-driven procurement transformations.
- Develop creative ideas to increase user adoption of new (digitized) processes.
- Analyze requirements, develop training and communication concepts and materials, and continuously improve the user experience.
Requirements
- Relevant professional experience in strategic procurement within the automotive or manufacturing sector.
- Responsible for at least one category in the area of production materials.
- Strong understanding of end-to-end procurement processes and integration points between SAP modules and third-party systems.
- Able to understand business processes from the perspective of the company/end users.
- Excellent written and spoken German and English.
- Willingness to travel and enjoyment of project work in a national or international project environment.
