Responsibilities
The category management function defines and manages the offering, positioning, and sales enablement initiatives throughout the lifecycle of hybrid cloud solutions.
Guide direct and indirect hybrid cloud sales teams and solution architects on these dimensions.
Responsible for planning the business objectives for the hybrid cloud solutions portfolio in collaboration with the Country Sales Leader.
Achieve these objectives through ongoing sales (and partner) enablement and customer awareness initiatives.
Communicate, brief, and support direct and indirect sales forces on solution strategies.
Collaborate on defining demand generation priorities at strategic and tactical levels in partnership with Marketing.
Requirements
University degree or Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Finance, Engineering, or IT.
Typically 8–12 years of professional experience; a combination of marketing, sales, and business planning experience is preferred.
Experience in consumer and/or commercial partner management.
End-user account management experience as an alternative.
Knowledge of the IT industry.
Strong, multidimensional business planning skills.
Financial planning and modeling skills; comfortable managing high-complexity business planning and reporting.
Strong communication skills with senior management, both internally and externally.
Knowledge of promotional marketing processes and practices.
Negotiation skills and the ability to articulate product value propositions to customers and partners.
Leadership skills and cross-functional experience (sales, supply chain, marketing).
