About the role
- Strategic Systems and Interface Manager leading the development and delivery of systems and operations strategy for UK water infrastructure projects. Collaborating with various stakeholders to define and fulfill project requirements.
Responsibilities
- Lead the planning, design, and implementation of robust asset systems and operational modes
- Establish key contractual system requirements and ensure effective integration with existing assets
- Build strategic relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including Anglian Water, Cambridge Water, Environment Agency, and supply chain partners
- Mobilise subject matter expertise to respond to programme queries, asset standard deviations, and technical requests
- Oversee scoping and delivery of task orders with progress monitoring and liaison with engineering and programme management teams
- Drive a culture of continuous improvement, ensuring compliance with company policies and maintaining a zero-accident culture
Requirements
- Experience working with complex systems, ideally in the water industry
- Knowledge of raw and potable water operations
- Ability to think strategically and tactically, with a technical mindset
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- Strong IT and project management skills
- Commercial and industry sector awareness
