About the role

  • Business Manager driving sales and market share in the C-store segment at Acosta. Managing relationships and communications to achieve strategic goals in the retail sector.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver principals’ volume, share, and sales fundamental goals at the lowest possible cost.
  • Communicate principals’ priorities to ensure in-store presence and objectives are met.
  • Report directly to the General Manager managing new principal introductions.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with principals and customers.
  • Coordinate communication and collaborate on major retail initiatives.
  • Leverage insights to develop conceptual sales presentations.
  • Provide feedback on the effectiveness of strategies and suggest improvements.
  • Maintain current account distribution information and review market reports.
  • Proactively manage your personal skill development plan and share information.
  • Ensure all client procedures are followed and monitor financial management.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience.
  • A proven track-record in sales; preferably with a food broker or national company.
  • Strong interpersonal, organizational, presentation, negotiation, and sales skills.
  • Ability to analyze sales and marketing information needed to make effective sales presentations.
  • Proficient in a variety of software packages used to support the sales function.
  • Willing to travel (local travel)
