About the role
- Systems Engineer supporting and scaling FOX’s infrastructure and cloud platforms. Working on initiatives in media pipelines, infrastructure automation, and cloud transformation.
Responsibilities
- Build, support, and scale FOX’s AWS-based infrastructure
- Manage and provision infrastructure using tools like Terraform or AWS CloudFormation
- Migrate legacy systems and services from on-premise data centers to cloud environments
- Lead enterprise IT infrastructure projects and collaborate across multiple teams
- Automate deployment, monitoring, and recovery procedures
- Troubleshoot infrastructure issues across hybrid cloud and on-prem platforms
- Partner with developers to improve CI/CD pipelines and operational workflows
- Participate in on-call rotations and incident response as needed
- Maintain technical documentation and contribute to internal knowledge sharing
Requirements
- Hands-on experience leading and managing enterprise IT infrastructure projects
- Strong experience with AWS cloud infrastructure and services
- Proficiency with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform or AWS CloudFormation
- Demonstrated ability to migrate systems from on-prem to cloud environments
- Proficient in virtualization platforms (VMWare, Hyper-V, Nutanix)
- Expertise with Windows and Linux systems, including CLI tools and automation
- Deep knowledge of enterprise environments: Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, GPOs, and multi-domain structures
- Scripting skills in PowerShell and/or Python for automation and operational efficiency
- Experience implementing enterprise backup and endpoint protection tools (e.g., Veeam, Rubrik, CrowdStrike, SCCM, Tanium)
- Strong understanding of network protocols and architecture (TCP/IP, VLANs, firewalls, segmentation)
- Proficiency with authentication and identity federation protocols (AD, LDAP, SAML, OIDC, Okta)
- Excellent analytical, documentation, and organizational skills
- Ability to balance multiple priorities and contribute to day-to-day operations in a fast-paced environment
