About the role
- Join Mindera as a Software Implementation Engineer to manage and support clients' in-store devices. Focus on automation, security, compliance, and reliability.
Responsibilities
- Build, configure and support clients' in-store devices
- Manage full lifecycle of in-store devices
- Automate deployments and updates using MECM and scripts
- Ensure devices are secure, compliant, and reliable for users
Requirements
- Design and construct automated build processes using Microsoft System Center Configuration Manager (MECM)
- Create unattended installations of various software products using both scripted and MSI delivery mechanisms.
- Develop tools for use by related technical teams ranging from simple batch files to high-level Windows apps.
- Work with related support teams to triage problems and escalate to find a solution.
- Provide a technical bridge between project teams within M&S and external suppliers.
- Develop an in-depth technical understanding of various retail platforms such as manned tills, self-checkouts and store infrastructure.
