Responsibilities
- Responsible for governance and management of enterprise-wide IT asset portfolio.
- Develop and implement strategies to control costs and mitigate compliance risks.
- Manage complex vendors to maximize technology investments in a regulatory environment.
- Drive administration and optimization using ServiceNow for software management.
- Influence the IT asset lifecycle from procurement to disposal.
- Lead software license management efforts to ensure compliance with agreements.
- Conduct audits and reconcile asset data to maintain the accuracy of databases.
- Analyze asset data for cost savings and optimization opportunities.
- Collaborate with various teams for budgeting and contract negotiations.
- Generate and present detailed reports on asset inventory and compliance to leadership.
Requirements
- A minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in IT Asset Management.
- Self-motivated, bringing energy, enthusiasm, and intellectual curiosity.
- Expert-level, hands-on experience with the ServiceNow platform, specifically the HAM and SAM Pro modules.
- Extensive experience managing enterprise-level licensing agreements with major vendors.
- Deep knowledge of ITAM principles and best practices (e.g., ITIL, IAITAM).
- Strong analytical skills to analyze complex datasets and translate data into actionable insights.
- Solid understanding of budgeting, financial analysis, and cost allocation.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills for effective negotiation with vendors.
- Exceptional execution skills with detail-oriented approach to managing asset data.
- Preferred certifications: CITAM, CSAM, or ServiceNow certifications.
- Required education: Bachelor's degree in IT, Business Administration, Finance, or related field.
