About the role
- Manage security operations as SOC Manager at Money Fellows, a fintech leader in Egypt. Oversee security monitoring, incident response, and compliance with regulations.
Responsibilities
- Lead day-to-day monitoring of security alerts and logs from various systems.
- Manage and optimize the Security Information and Event Management (SIEM) system.
- Oversee endpoint protection, firewall logs, and access controls.
- Develop and maintain the Incident Response Plan (IRP).
- Lead investigations and responses to security incidents and breaches.
- Perform root cause analysis and implement corrective actions.
- Conduct regular vulnerability scans and penetration tests.
- Coordinate patch management with IT and engineering teams.
- Track and remediate identified vulnerabilities.
- Ensure alignment with regulations (e.g., PCI DSS, GDPR, Egyptian Central Bank guidelines).
- Prepare for and support audits and compliance reviews.
- Maintain and enforce security policies and SOPs.
- Build and lead a small Security Operations Center (SOC) team.

Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Security, Computer Science, or related field.
- 5+ years of experience in IT security with at least 2 years in a security operations role.
- Experience in a fintech or high-growth tech startup is preferred.
- collaboration tools, such as Jira and Confluence.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent understanding of modern cyber threats.
- Strong communication and collaboration abilities.
- Hands-on with security tooling (SIEM, EDR, IDS/IPS, etc.)
