Senior Value Engineer responsible for leading value assessments and strategic project implementations. Driving software solutions for clients in automotive and engineering industries in Germany.
Responsibilities
Lead the discovery phase: identify pain points, business potential, and motivation drivers, and translate findings into a clear solution strategy and a compelling value story.
Plan and lead value assessments and proof-of-value projects; design and deliver demos; facilitate C-level workshops and present findings and recommendations at the executive level.
Quantify customer value through robust business cases — including ROI and impact hypotheses — and transparently demonstrate how the SPREAD platform delivers real benefits across the entire value journey.
Support sales by coaching Account Executives on account strategy and stakeholder mapping; qualify opportunities, refine scopes, and ensure consistent alignment with measurable success criteria.
Work closely with delivery and product teams to ensure new and strategic use cases are implemented, scaled, and sustainably embedded; systematically feed project insights back into platform development.
Requirements
Minimum 5 years of customer-facing experience in enterprise B2B software in consulting, presales, or value roles, with demonstrable business impact and an executive-ready storyline.
Solid experience in at least one of our core industries, such as automotive, aerospace, defence, or machinery, or in a comparable sector.
Confident communication across all levels, from the shop floor to top management.
Comfortable handling complex, unstructured problems; collaborative and adaptable working style.
Experienced in developing business cases and conducting value workshops, as well as delivering executive-level pitches.
Proven experience collaborating with engineering and product teams; ability to translate customer insights into concrete product improvements and scalable solutions.
Willingness to attend on-site customer meetings to accelerate processes.
Business-fluent German and English, both written and spoken.
