About the role
- Senior SAP Test Manager responsible for end-to-end test strategy in challenging SAP transformations within the banking sector. Leading teams and ensuring flawless go-live for systems and processes.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement a test strategy for SAP transformation projects in a banking context
- Plan, coordinate and monitor all test phases (Unit, Integration, UAT, Regression)
- Create test designs, scenarios and test cases, including dependency management
- Defect management: prioritization, tracking and communication with development and business stakeholders
- Identify and manage quality assurance measures
- Lead and coordinate test teams (internal & external) and ensure efficient test operations
- Report test progress, risks and blockers to project and client stakeholders
- Actively contribute to the further development of test processes and automation solutions
- Structure and own the acceptance process; coordinate and communicate with internal stakeholders and the client/commissioning party
Requirements
- Several years of experience in SAP environments, ideally with a focus on banking or finance
- Experience in test management of complex IT transformation projects
- Test management certifications (e.g., ISTQB) are a plus
- Proven experience leading teams or subprojects
- Confident use of common test tools (e.g., SAP Solution Manager, Tricentis Tosca, Jira)
- Excellent German and English language skills
