About the role

Responsibilities
- Join Orion’s Operations Development team to lead and deliver impactful development projects, foster a culture of Continual Improvement, and enable Operational Excellence across Global Operations.
- As Senior Manager, Operations Development, you will lead and coach project specialists and managers, acting as a business partner in Continual Improvement matters to assigned Global Operations functions.
- Support and challenge your stakeholders, helping them identify and realize improvement opportunities.
- Lead and implement your own development projects and Continual Improvement initiatives.
- Facilitate change management, introduce new practices, network internally and externally, and ensure the adoption of best practices throughout the organization.
Requirements
- Proven experience in leading operational improvement and change initiatives, ideally within production environments. Demonstrated achievements will make you stand out from other applicants
- Academic degree (M.Sc. in Engineering, Business, or equivalent)
- Strong leadership and project management skills, with the ability to guide teams and drive results
- Practical knowledge of Lean, Six Sigma, and Business Process Leadership principles
- Effective problem-solving and communication skills
- Strong networking and collaboration skills
- Fluency in Finnish and English
- Practical experience in production, planning, or logistics
- Experience in introducing new practices in manufacturing or supply chain environment
- Demonstrated experience as a line manager in a specialist organization is an advantage
