Responsibilities
Develop and execute strategic sales plans: Identify and target new business opportunities within specific market segments.
Lead generation and qualification: Utilize various lead generation channels (e.g., networking, referrals, online research, industry events) to identify potential clients.
Relationship building: Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers in target organizations.
Sales presentations and proposals: Deliver compelling sales presentations and product demonstrations.
Negotiation and closing: Skilfully negotiate contracts and close deals.
Pipeline management: Effectively manage a sales pipeline, track progress, and provide accurate sales forecasts.
Market analysis: Stay informed about market trends and competitive landscape.
Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure client satisfaction and achieve business objectives.
Requirements
Proven track record: 5+ years of successful experience in a B2B sales role working in travel and /or travel payments.
Industry: Experience working in or within the travel industry and ideally the payments industry also.
Strong business acumen: Deep understanding of sales methodologies, pipeline management, and forecasting.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills: Ability to build rapport, effectively communicate value propositions, and present to C-level executives.
Problem-solving and analytical skills: Ability to analyse customer needs, identify challenges, and propose effective solutions.
Self-motivated and results-oriented: Highly driven and ambitious with a strong work ethic and a desire to succeed.
Proficiency in CRM software: Experience using CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot) to manage sales activities.
