About the role
- Senior Associate in Data Analytics contributing to the Wealth Management team at BNY. Focusing on AI platform mastery, SQL, and Python for data-driven solutions.
Responsibilities
- Learn and master BNY’s enterprise AI platform (Eliza), including agent creation, customization, and deployment across BNY Wealth.
- Support the design, development, and maintenance and AI agents that streamline processes, improve employee and client experiences, and enhance internal efficiency.
- Collaborate with BNY Wealth team members to identify use cases for AI-driven solutions.
- Write, optimize, and maintain SQL queries to extract and manipulate data for reporting, analysis, and AI model development.
- Develop scripts and automation using Python to support data pipelines, model testing, and integration of AI solutions.
- Provide hands-on training and support to BNY Wealth team members on the effective use of the AI platform (Eliza), including step-by-step guidance on creating and managing agents.
- Document AI workflows, best practices, and training materials for non-technical employees.
- Stay current on emerging AI technologies and practices and proactively suggest ways to enhance Eliza’s impact across BNY Wealth.
- Contribute to the achievement of team objectives and support a range of moderately complex projects and deliverables as needed or required by management, senior/executive leadership, internal business partners, and regulatory agencies.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and work experience required
- 3-5 years of total work experience preferred
- 1-3 years of experience working with SQL and Python in a professional or academic setting.
- Experience in the securities or financial services industry is preferred
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Familiarity with artificial intelligence concepts (machine learning, natural language processing, generative AI, etc.) and their application in business environments.
