About the role
- SAP HCM Functional Analyst responsible for solution design and documentation for payroll systems. Working with clients and technical teams to ensure efficient technical solutions and compliance.
Responsibilities
- Produce solution design and documentation for complex enterprise applications.
- Utilize SAP framework to provide IT solutions and production support for Payroll.
- Implement long-term, complex application systems based on SAP Programming and client-server technology.
- Work with the business/Client to understand their needs and coach them on appropriate solutions.
- Work with Technical Support Team to drive efficient technical solution design.
- Work in a support environment with pre-defined SLAs and ticketing tools.
- Demonstrate good time management skills to work both in a project and support role.
Requirements
- Minimum 5 years experience as a functional analyst for SAP HCM.
- Knowledge of customizing of Payroll (Specialty in Canadian payroll), Time management, Benefits, Finance Integration and all HCM related activities.
- Ability to analyze and modify payroll schemas and rules
- Translating stakeholder requirements into various documentation deliverables such as functional specifications use cases, workflow/process diagrams.
- Analyzing business processes and systems, identifying inefficiencies and/or required functional enhancements, and documenting business processes and procedures.
- Translating business needs into clear requirements that will enable the design of flexible solutions to enable business strategies and align with IT architecture direction.
- Providing deep functional expertise of system capabilities.
- Articulating functionality of systems to business and IT teams at various levels.
- Facilitate user acceptance testing.
