- Responsible for managing the cost and schedule requirements of product line offerings through all phases from proposal to distribution.
- Analyze and design technical product enhancements.
- Integrate the work of research and development, manufacturing, marketing, sales, and service functions for new or potential product offerings.
- Deliver business growth strategies through product line innovation.
- Work across Sales/BD, Program Management, and Engineering to deliver product offerings from concept to production and sustainment.
- Understand the end-to-end battlefield concept of operations to determine new offerings for the portfolio.
- Demonstrate customer requirements are met with a travel requirement of up to 25%, including international travel as needed.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree and minimum 9 years of prior relevant experience.
- Graduate Degree and a minimum of 7 years of prior related experience.
- In lieu of a degree, minimum of 13 years of prior related experience.
- Proficient in night vision goggle and weapon mounted laser product lines and practical project management, capable of managing projects or processes with general supervision.
- Ability to thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced, high-stakes environment.
- Effective communicator with the ability to explain and interpret technical product information, operational processes, practices, and procedures to diverse audiences.
- Experienced in supporting product life cycle processes, practices, and procedures to ensure product integrity and performance.
- Skilled in recommending enhancements to current and future products, systems, and processes to drive innovation and efficiency.
- Demonstrated success in achieving operational targets for specific programs and projects, contributing significantly to departmental outcomes.
- Experience in sales and front-end business operations, including effective face-to-face customer interactions to understand needs and deliver tailored solutions.
- Familiarity with night vision goggles and weapon mounted lasers– image intensifiers, thermal camera systems, rangefinders and tactical networks.
