Responsibilities
Develop and implement occupational health and safety (OHS) policies.
Conduct regular workplace inspections to identify hazards and recommend corrective and preventive measures.
Monitor and enforce the use of PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) and collective protective equipment (CPE).
Investigate workplace accidents, prepare reports, and recommend actions to prevent recurrence.
Deliver trainings and educational campaigns on safety, occupational health, and accident prevention.
Manage and keep safety documentation up to date, such as PPRA, PCMSO, LTCAT, CAT, among others.
Support the preparation of technical reports and ensure compliance with regulatory standards (NRs).
Conduct safety onboarding for new employees.
Participate in CIPA (Internal Commission for Accident Prevention) and SIPAT (Internal Week for Accident Prevention).
Assist in fire prevention activities, including extinguisher control/maintenance and evacuation drills.
Support inspections and audits by competent authorities (e.g., Ministry of Labor).
Produce OHS reports and indicators, proposing continuous improvements.
Requirements
Technical qualification in Occupational Safety (Occupational Safety Technician diploma).
Previous experience.
Experience with Microsoft Office, including email, spreadsheets, and report writing.
Experience in industrial operations is a plus.
