About the role
- Campus Security Officer ensuring safety at Bright Horizons early childcare centers in Seattle. Responsible for access control, surveillance, and emergency response.
Responsibilities
- Maintain access control over designated access points, responsible for visitor access management
- Utilize video surveillance systems
- Conduct tours / patrols of the interior and exterior premises
- Detect and deter illicit activity, including loitering, trespass and other transient activity
- Assists clients, business visitors and guests
- Respond to security, facilities and medical emergencies
- May visit and respond to other Centers in the vicinity
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED
- 3 years of security officer experience operating in a full-time capacity, which may include military or law enforcement service
- Prior de-escalation training
- First Aid / CPR / AED certifications
- Personal transportation
- This is an unarmed position
