Network Performance & Optimization Engineer responsible for optimizing telecommunications networks and ensuring high-quality customer experience at TIM. Collaborating with various teams to implement new technologies and improvements.
Responsibilities
Evaluate variability of network indicators and implement action plans;
Coordinate and support vendor optimizers;
Optimize parameterization of Access Network elements to ensure Customer Experience (CEX);
Manage the baseline of RF parameters at a regional or national level;
Handle network complaints by diagnosing issues and forwarding them for resolution;
Analyze the impacts of introducing new features and monitor Day-After performance;
Evaluate periodic and on-demand drive tests and MDTs;
Align with peer areas across the company to ensure quality in a matrixed, end-to-end manner (Core, Transport, Operations, OSS, etc.);
Define, execute and monitor tests and trials for new technologies and services.
Requirements
University degree completed, preferably in Telecommunications Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Electronic Engineering or Data Communications;
Experience in cellular mobile networks (multivendor);
Knowledge of network analysis tools, signaling protocols and RAN/Core architecture;
Knowledge of Crowdsource/QoE KPIs;
Desired: automation with Python/SQL and technical English.
