Key Account Manager managing partnerships with retail sectors like drugstores and organic food stores. Driving sales goals and collaborating with marketing and supply chain teams.
Responsibilities
Independently manage selected retail partners in drugstores, grocery retail (supermarkets) or organic specialty stores
Prepare, conduct and follow up on strategy, annual and promotional agreements and ensure the agreed deliverables, including forecast planning
Revenue responsibility for the assigned customer base and achievement of sales targets
Develop customer development plans based on brand, category and channel strategies
Analyze and optimize distribution, listings, shelf placement and merchandising
Prepare price calculations and commercial proposals
Track sales figures and continuously improve sales and profit potential
Work closely with internal stakeholders such as Marketing and Supply Chain to steer customer activities holistically
Requirements
University degree, preferably in business administration (BWL) or a comparable qualification
Relevant experience of at least 2–3 years in Key Account Management, ideally in sales at an FMCG company
Excellent marketing understanding and a good sense for customer and consumer needs
Structured and analytical working style, commitment and enthusiasm
Assertiveness, negotiation skills and strong interpersonal skills
Enjoy working with market research data and shopper KPIs
