About the role
- Analyst managing the claims process from notification to closure at MDS Brasil. Collaborating with clients and insurers while ensuring compliance with company policies.
Responsibilities
- Ensure correct registration of low-complexity claims processes upon notification by the insurance company of the fact or event that triggered the client's claim, in order to perform analyses and investigations to verify coverage of the event according to the terms established in the policy.
- Support customer service through multiple channels, including in-person, telephone and digital tools, so that all customers are served according to their needs promptly and accurately regarding partial loss, total loss or assistance claims.
- Monitor the entire claims process through the insurer's communication channels to ensure compliance with all claims regulation standards.
- Ensure that the customer is informed of all stages of the claims process by sharing data and information, providing the necessary support and guidance regarding the claims operation.
- Track all open and/or settled claims by setting deadlines for follow-up of each case to ensure internal control of reported claims and the subsequent impact at renewal.
- Support pre-analyses of contracted coverages by verifying all data and information on the current policy to confirm whether the claimed loss is covered.
- Perform other related professional activities inherent to the role as required by the area, through training, professional qualification and guidance from the immediate supervisor, to ensure continuous professional development as a learning opportunity and according to the needs of the area.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Actuarial Science or related fields.
- Experience at insurance brokerages with automobile claims and other lines of business.
- Basic to intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office.
- Excellent verbal and written communication, analytical skills, organizational skills, critical thinking and collaboration.
