Credit Analyst at Advancial reviewing and evaluating loan applications from various channels. Responsible for analyzing credit data and making loan decisions based on risk assessment.
Responsibilities
Reviews and evaluates loan applications from direct and indirect channels, using appropriate tools to mitigate risk.
Analyzes credit data, financial statements, and property valuations to determine creditworthiness and lending risk.
Ensures all application data is complete and accurate in the loan origination system.
Makes loan decisions within authorized limits and manages the performance of an assigned loan portfolio.
Communicates with Dealers and Representatives regarding decisions and exceptions.
Maintains strong knowledge of lending policies, procedures, Credit Union loan products, and peripheral products (e.g., Credit Life/Disability, GAP, Vehicle Service Contracts).
Uses the loan origination system to generate and review financial ratios.
Provides credit-related consultation to internal departments.
Protects the confidentiality and security of member information.
Recommends policy and procedure changes to management.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree from four-year College or University; and three years related experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
